That is why there is an English service church in Sendai. It is a church that is designed to do good for the world and bring even more faith to the people of Japan whether you are visiting or a long term resident.

One of the main things that you will notice different about the English service church in Sendai is that services are held on Saturday. This may seem confusing to some, but the pastors, Caleb and Christina Chang have reasons. On Sunday, they visit Kesennuma, where the tsunami hit the hardest. Originally, they visited ten days after the devastation, but that has extended well beyond the first three months Pastor Caleb stayed and the 200 volunteers he brought along. Together they still bring faith to the Kesennuma area and people.

This church is also a part of the FCBC Singapore, which makes it a church that practices the Baptist faith. It is also what enables them to help communities who are dealing with devastation by providing food and compassion to those families that were hit the hardest. It is all in an effort to show all of Japan what God's love can do for them. Would you enjoy being a part of it?

If you are ready to discover the lessons you can learn and become a part of something truly great, language does not have to be a barrier for you anymore.
