Although these are the main things that the community managers would do, the majority of the work would be commenting and replying to messages. Now, some social media platforms such as Instagram does not need all of the comments answered. However, Facebook or Twitter would require that all the comments, as well as the messages, be answered so that the engagement rate stays the same.

Now, this profession is quite young in practice but a lot of experts have stemmed out of the field studying and analyzing the way social media works. Of course, they know exactly what they are doing that they have created a demand for services like these.
