SoundCloud, for those that don't know, is a social platform that focuses on music and audio streaming. You will be able to find a number of music tracks, podcasts, and sound clips if you know what to search for. Depending on your business, SoundCloud could be a major part of your business model as well. Online marketing companies across the board can agree, so here are a few do's & don'ts that you'd be wise to follow.

DO understand the importance of sharing. Just because you post high-quality content on SoundCloud doesn't mean that your work is cover. With every piece of content that you upload, you have the opportunity to include a description. This will allow you to implement relevant terms and keywords you'd like to rank for. Take advantage of this, as it will provide a substantial SEO boost in the long term.

DON'T let SoundCloud Pro slip your memory. Perhaps you didn't even know that SoundCloud had its own premium membership option. With this, you have access to a litany of features that you wouldn't have been able to use otherwise. Advanced analytics, increased upload times, and the ability to pin tracks to your profile are just a few examples. If these seem appealing to you, the aforementioned Pro option could make all the difference from a social standpoint.
