There are others who just want to make use of their simple soap because they know what stronger ones can do to the pans. But you would have to invest more time in this. And if you are in a hurry, you might have to leave it for now. The usual solution would be to soak it in water which will also cause further damage to it.

Before, the material being used would cause the liner to stick to the surface of the machines or the pans. But now, they are making use of a different type of material so that you would not have to spend time in removing it afterwards. There are different brands for this. You can purchase disposable ones. After using it for one preparation process, you have to throw it away because it is no longer effective. Reusable ones are more expensive. But they would keep you from purchasing over and over again which means that it would be more cost effective.

Another feature that you would find useful is if it is not only susceptible to one type of temperature. You might want to use it a layer of covering for the freezer. You might want to use it as a protective later so that ice would not stick too much and the juice from the different things you put in it would not make it hard for you to clean that area.
