What You Should Know About Laser Removal Kirkwood

You will be required to keep away from sunlight before treatment. More often than not, you will be required to stay away from sunlight for at least six weeks before going for treatment. One day before treatment, you need to shave and trim the treatment areas. Furthermore, it is not advisable to use other modes of removing hairs like plucking or waxing before you go for laser removal.

For the actual process, there is pressing of a laser instrument against skin. Depending on the type of laser that they use, they might use a cooling devices for protecting the skin from any side effects. As regards the time taken, small areas are treated in minutes while larger areas require more time.

You might notice redness and swelling for some time after treatment. In order to reduce discomfort, you are expected to apply ice on the area. Hair will be lost gradually.
