It also enabled the storage and preservation of perishable products using refrigerators and cooling chambers for more large scale and commercial purposes. Some cars have also been designed o run on this form of energy.
Petroleum however is the largest energy provider on the planet today. This very dear material is usually extracted from the ground. In some places however, traces of oil have been discovered on massive water bodies. During extraction, it is usually crude in nature. This is then refined to get the petroleum, diesel, oil plastic and many other by-products.
During the process of refining crude oil, a number of other products are created. These include things such as kerosene, diesel, oil and plastics as well. Each one of these materials has a unique use in the society. The kerosene for example is used in led lamps to provide light in places where electricity is not accessible yet.
